When you visit a web page, your browser will "cache" (store) the page in its memory. This process is designed to help you - it means that if you revisit the page at some time in the future, you'll be able to access it more quickly.
However, if you share a computer, you need to make sure that the pages you've visited aren't automatically stored in your computer's memory for someone else to call up later.
We've done part of the process for you by instructing most browsers not to store web pages in the online banking section.
But this feature doesn't work when using an Internet Explorer browser with an Apple Macintosh. In any case, it's a good idea to double-check your cache is cleared by doing it yourself when you log out of Barclaycard Online. We've given full instructions below.
If your browser is one of those we've instructed not to cache information, you may find that you can't retrieve the last page you have visited by using the browser's back button. Use the Barclaycard website navigation buttons instead.
Call our Internet Customer Service helpline on 0161 953 5501* - we're open Mon - Fri 8am - 10pm, Sat 10am - 6pm, Sun 11am - 7pm.
*To maintain a quality service, we may monitor or record phone calls. Calls are charged at national rates within the UK.
