  • Download guides for the integration and operation of ePDQ CPI
  • Advice to help you maintain high levels of security, manage your risk and protect your business

Overview

Now that you've successfully applied for ePDQ CPI, you're just three steps from accepting secure payments online, as well as by mail order and over the phone.

1. Get your log in details

  • In order to set you up with an ePDQ store to use with your website, our eCommerce Support Team will send you an email with your ePDQ store ID and web address.
  • When you receive our email, you need to call us on the number given to get your store password. To get this, you'll need to answer some security questions to confirm your identity.
  • We recommend that you read our password policy to help you understand how it affects the use of your ePDQ store, before you start using it.
  • Only after we confirm your ePDQ store ID, username and password should you start integration CPI.

2. Download our integration guides

We've put together these documents with integration and administration details for CPI. If you are the merchant, you must read the Integration Guide to help you configure important information relating to the integration of the ePDQ CPI into your online store, even if a developer is doing the main integration work for you.

Important: If you're a developer and are integrating ePDQ on behalf of a Barclaycard merchant, you must supply your client with the Integration and Operating Guides. You also need to advise them how they log into their administration tool, and where they can do so.

Operating Guides

These guides explain how to use ePDQ, so it's important that you read and understand all of the main functions before you process your first transaction.

Please note that ePDQ doesn't support Experian Risk Service, Fraud Analyser, Paypal, Batch Authorisation or Clear Commerce Payer Authentication.

3. Activate your Account

When you've integrated ePDQ CPI and are ready to start taking live transactions you need to activate your ePDQ account by filling in a few details on our ePDQ Account Activation form.

Within 24 hours, we'll send you an email confirming that your ePDQ account is live. Please wait for this confirmation before you start processing any transactions. Once you're live, all transactions and settlements should be processed in Production or (P) mode.
