Las Vegas Competition Rules

  1. The competition is open to persons aged 18 or over excluding employees and past employees of Barclays Bank PLC or anyone materially connected to the administration of the competition
  2. The competition will run over the period 2nd July - 4th January 2011 and there will be 6 monthly winners each one being the highest scorer on the Rollercoaster Extreme game for the month in question. In addition the top 4 scorers during the duration of the competition will win a trip to Las Vegas.
  3. Entry is achieved by playing the Rollercoaster Extreme game during the timeframe of the Competition and by registering their score via Facebook.
  4. The winners of the monthly competitions will each receive an iPad. Once you have been a monthly winner you are not eligible to be a winner in any of the following months.
  5. In the event of several people with the same score a draw will take place
  6. If a winner cannot be contacted then the prize will be allocated to the next highest scorer.
  7. The monthly winners will be notified by Email by no later than 28 days after their name has been determined as the monthly winner.
  8. The monthly winners will receive their prizes by post no later than 60 days after the end of the month in which their score was the highest.
  9. The names and country of the monthly winners and the name of the independent observer will be available to anyone sending a stamped addressed envelope to Hannah Deans at Barclaycard, 1 Churchill Place, London E14 5HP within 28 days after the month end closing date. No other correspondence will be entered into.
  10. The prize for the top four on the Rollercoaster Extreme Facebook leader board as at close of business 04.01.2011 will be a 3 night stay for two at the NY NY Hotel in Las Vegas. All accommodation and flight costs from an airport local to the winner to Las Vegas including airport transfers in the USA will be paid for as part of the prize. There will be a daily allowance of £100 per person per day whilst in Las Vegas which excludes the cost of breakfast as this will form part of the hotel accommodation package. Winners must be able to travel between January 10th and January 30th 2011.
  11. In the event of more than 4 people with an equal score in the leaderboard a draw will take place to select the prize winners.
  12. During the 4 winners' stay in Las Vegas there will be a play off which the 4 winners must participate in to find the top player of the Rollercoaster Extreme Game.
  13. The overall winner will win £50,000 which will be delivered by cheque within 28 days of the winner being announced.
  14. Barclays Bank PLC reserves the right to publish the name, photograph, and county of the overall winner or to publicise the prize giving presentation after the date of the play off and in the weeks proceeding the event
  15. All entrants to the competition will be deemed to have accepted the rules.
  16. No alternatives to the prize offered will be given.
  17. In the event that the prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
