No you cannot transfer an overdraft balance onto your Barclaycard. You can transfer balances from Store and Credit Cards.

How can I make a claim on my Payment Protection Plan on my Barclaycard?

If you wish to make a claim for Life, Accident or Sickness or Involuntary Unemployment, please print off the claim form provided and complete the required information.

How can I pay my Barclaycard bill online?

You can register for online services as soon as you've received your card.  Just click Register from the Barclaycard home page.

Once you have logged in to your account online, select the option to make a payment by debit card and enter the information requested on screen. You'll have a chance to confirm the details before submitting your payment for immediate authorisation with your bank.

Your payment will be credited to your account within two working days.

How can I pay my Barclaycard bill?

• Online - using your debit card. Just register or log-in to account services.
• By Telephone Banking - give your bank our sort code 20-04-15, our account number 38290008, and your card number.
• By Direct Debit - just call us on 0844 811 9111** with your current account details.
• By post, with a cheque or postal order. Please make cheques payable to Barclaycard and write your Barclaycard number and postcode on the back. Send your cheque and completed Bank Giro Credit Slip attached to the bottom of your paper statement to:

  BL11 1XX
  Allow at least 4 working days before your payment due date.
• Over the counter at any bank - by cash or cheque using the Bank Giro Credit Slip attached to your statement.

How do Balance Transfers work?

If you transfer a credit card balance to Barclaycard, you can enjoy a competitive balance transfer rate. Balance transfers are usually subject to a handling charge of 2.5%. We will make any handling charges clear to you in the terms and conditions accompanying an offer made to you.

When you make a payment to your account, it will go towards paying off your balance transfer first, which means any further purchases you make will be charged at your standard APR. Your repayments will not start reducing the amount you spend on the card until the transferred balance has been cleared.
