Terms and Conditions

  • Lowest price offer only valid on return Emirates Economy Class flights originating from and returning to the UK to all online Emirates destinations
  • Offer is only valid for flights purchased online via the special promotional website. Offer does not apply to one-way journeys, code-share flights or flights where tickets purchased are part of an inclusive tour package
  • Offer not valid for tickets purchased to destinations where Emirates is not the operating carrier. All sectors on the ticket, covered by the Emirates network, must be flown on Emirates. Offer valid from 31st March 2008 to 31st December 2008
  • Emirates will give every 50th passenger who purchased their return flight online via the special promotional website their ticket free. This will happen on a rolling basis for every 50th return ticket (i.e. 50th, 100th, 150th etc)

  • The goods and services advertised are subject to availability and may change from time to time. For all offers, the full purchase price must be paid on a Barclaycard (corporate cards are excluded from the offer). Emirates – Lowest Price Offer Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for Emirates' online Lowest Price Offer you must first have purchased and paid for in full a "Qualifying Flight" at http://www.emirates.com/english/ibe/CUGO/Barclaycard/terms-and-conditions.aspx using a Barclaycard credit card.

The Lowest Price Offer applies only to bookings made online at http://www.emirates.com/english/ibe/CUGO/Barclaycard/terms-and-conditions.aspx and not those purchased by telephone or otherwise.

To be eligible for the Lowest Price Offer you must have found a cheaper fare on the identical Emirates flights to the flights provided by Emirates on a website other than http://www.emirates.com/english/ibe/CUGO/Barclaycard/terms-and-conditions.aspx.

The base fare (ie. the fare quoted excluding taxes, fees, charges and surcharges) for the flight(s) must be cheaper than the flight(s) first purchased through http://www.emirates.com/english/ibe/CUGO/Barclaycard/terms-and-conditions.aspx and must be for the same route(s), with each sector of the trip flown in the same order, for the same dates, for the same flight number, in the same class of travel and fare booking class, for the same type of ticket (including fare conditions such as whether or not they are flexible, refundable or changeable) and be sold in the UK over the internet in GBP currency. The website containing the cheaper online fare must allow users to book the cheaper online fare. Websites showing fares but not allowing users to book the cheaper online fare will not qualify for the Lowest Price Offer.

The Lowest Price Offer is applicable only to the original booking made online at http://www.emirates.com/english/ibe/CUGO/Barclaycard/terms-and-conditions.aspx and any subsequent changes to a booking will not be covered or be eligible for the Lowest Price Offer.

Claims can be made only by sending an email to barclaycard@emirates.com with the following information about your Emirates booking:

  • Details of person who paid for the flights
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Emirates flight details
  • Booking reference number
  • Emirates outbound flight number from the UK
  • Date of outbound flight
  • Emirates inbound flight number from the UK
  • Date of inbound flight
  • Details of the lower fare
  • Website address where you found the lower fare
  • Total fare for all passengers excluding fees, charges and surcharges (in GBP)
  • Date lower fare was found

You must include a screenshot of the website page showing the lower fare from the website other than http://fly.emirates.com/cugo.aspx?PromoCode=UKBARC1 .

No claim for a Lowest Price Offer can be made by telephone or otherwise. Incomplete Lowest Price Offer claim emails will not be accepted.
Claim emails must be received at barclaycard@emirates.com no later than midnight (GMT) on the same day you purchased your flight.

Emirates is not responsible for any Lowest Price Offer claims which are not received or which are delayed in transmission.

Emirates' special offer fares displayed on http://fly.emirates.com/cugo.aspx?PromoCode=UKBARC1 are subject to change. If there is a reduction to the special offer fares advertised on the http://fly.emirates.com/cugo.aspx?PromoCode=UKBARC1 website after you have booked your flight, the Lowest Price Offer will not apply.

To be eligible for a Lowest Price Offer you must supply sufficient evidence of the cheaper quote in the form of a print out or an attachment of the fare quote page that is required to Emirates' reasonable satisfaction, together with a copy of the conditions applicable to the cheaper quote. You should retain all the relevant print outs or the attachment until you have heard from Emirates that all relevant information is no longer required as proof. Please note any print out or attachment of the fare quote page must be taken at the same time the cheaper fare is found.

If the claim meets all the Terms and Conditions of the Lowest Price Offer, a refund of the difference between the purchase cost on http://fly.emirates.com/cugo.aspx?PromoCode=UKBARC1 and the cost of the cheaper online fare, will be credited to the holder of the Barclaycard credit card that was used to pay for the booking at http://fly.emirates.com/cugo.aspx?PromoCode=UKBARC1 within 28 days of the claim having been verified by Emirates Airline.
A letter or email of confirmation will be sent to the cardholder two days after the refund is made. A refund will be granted for each ticket within a booking that meets the Terms and Conditions of the Lowest Price Offer.

The refund of the difference between the purchase cost on http://fly.emirates.com/cugo.aspx?PromoCode=UKBARC1 and the total cost of the cheaper online fare is the sole and exclusive compensation that will be made to qualified claimants who show that Emirates failed to meet its Lowest Price Offer. The difference between the purchase cost and the cost of the cheaper online fare will be the total amount refunded.
There will be no refund of any difference in any taxes, charges or surcharges.

The Lowest Price Offer is subject to you also complying with Emirates' usual Terms and Conditions for booking flights which are available on our website at www.emirates.com/uk.

Emirates is the final authority on interpretation of these rules and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Lowest Price Offer will not apply where:

  • the difference in cost between the purchase on http://fly.emirates.com/cugo.aspx?PromoCode=UKBARC1 and the cheaper online fare is the result of an error by the retailer of the cheaper online fare (in which case Emirates will attempt to remove the retailer's cheaper online fare in 24 hours)
  • the cheaper online fare is not available to the general public. Such fares include, but are not limited to, corporate discount fares, staff fares and closed user group fares and fares where the carrier details are not known until after the purchase
  • the cheaper online fare has been discounted by the online retailer by use of vouchers, loyalty rewards, redemption of frequent flyers miles or similar, and including any other offers or incentives to reduce the total cost
  • the cheaper online fare is part of a travel package with an inclusive airfare
  • Emirates is unable to verify, using reasonable means, that the cheaper online fare is available. This may be at any time within 48 hours of receipt of your claim at the discretion of Emirates Airline. If your claim form is submitted over the weekend, then Emirates will advise you 48 hours from the next working day
  • you have exercised your right to obtain a refund or have cancelled your booking before you apply for a Lowest Price Offer. Emirates' usual Terms & Conditions for cancellation and refunds apply.
  • the fare is not a return fare.

50th free ticket terms and conditions

The passenger purchasing the 50th ticket will be notified that the price of their ticket will be refunded to them via email within 10 working days of the ticket being purchased.

Emirates will refund the full price of the ticket to the 50th passenger's Barclaycard credit card that was used to purchase the ticket once the passenger has completed their travel on Emirates.
