OnePulse credit card

Here at Barclaycard we’ve started to change and simplify our range of credit cards. So we’ll be moving all OnePulse card holders to one of our most popular cards.

How this will affect you

You’ll be able use your new Barclaycard to pay for your travel on London buses using Contactless and soon you’ll be able to be able to use contactless on the wider TfL network. You can still register your card on the TfL website to view your transaction history and apply for refunds. Your TfL travel charges will also appear on your statement so you’ll always be in control.

Some helpful FAQ’s

You can either use up any remaining credit by 30 June 2014, request a refund or arrange for it to be transferred to an Oyster card. You’ll have to pay a £5 refundable deposit when you get a new Oyster card. For details about how you can arrange to transfer visit tfl.gov.uk/onepulse or call the TfL customer services team on 0343 222 1234 (Call charge information) .

You will need to get any discount entitlement, for example, a Railcard or Goldcard discount reloaded on to your new Oyster card once you’ve arranged a transfer, or you’ve use up any pay as you go credit and/or season ticket on your OnePulse card. You can get your discount entitlement reloaded at:
•              Tube and London Overground station ticket offices
•              Some National Rail station ticket offices
•              Oyster Ticket Stops
•              London Travel Information Centres

Yes, unlike your OnePulse card your new Barclaycard can be used for contactless payments with TfL on buses today. Soon you’ll be able to use your contactless card on Tube, tram, DLR, London Overground and some National Rail services. For more information and updates on the TfL network please visit tfl.gov.uk/contactless

Your purchase and cash interest rates will not change.

Your first statement from your new Barclaycard will state your minimum repayment as usual. We are not changing the way your minimum payment is worked out. As per your usual terms and conditions, you should make at least the minimum payment on time to keep your account in good order.

When you receive your new Barclaycard you can start using your card straight away. Please destroy your old card once you’ve dealt with any outstanding balances on your OnePulse card. Your PIN will remain the same.

No – as long as you stay within your credit limit and make at least your minimum repayment on time every month you’ll keep your current balance transfer rate until the promotional period ends.

Unfortunately, the account you currently hold will no longer be available and your OnePulse card will stop working 30 days after you receive your new Barclaycard. As such you can’t opt out of the move. If you’d like to call us back once you’ve moved to our new card we can then check your account to see if there are any other product options available to you.
