How Do I Query a Transaction?

We understand that sometimes a transaction on your statement doesn’t always make sense and can be a concern. Sometimes a transaction that seems wrong may simply be a result of a misunderstanding.

In most cases Barclaycard are able to investigate these types of transactions, providing it does not relate to any Interest Charges or late Payment Fees.

• Check your online statement for the additional information. If you are not registered for Account Services why not register now.
• If your query is with a Retailer/Supplier, please attempt to contact them directly to resolve your query.
• If you are expecting a refund please check your most recent statement before proceeding. This may take up to 7-10 days to appear on your statement.
• If these points do not help you resolve your query, click Next to determine the type of query your transaction comes under.
• Follow the online instructions. You may need to print a form to fill in. Please complete all sections and using the address at the bottom of the form, post it to us. Remember to include any supporting evidence.
• Barclaycard will review the information you provide to establish if you have a valid case and will contact you to discuss your case and/or to confirm a decision.
• Once you have submitted your query if you have any further questions, you can either login and send a secure message or contact us on 0844 811 9111. Please do not use the online contact us form due to the sensitive nature of your query.
