Lost, stolen and damaged cards

Whether you’re at home or away, here’s how to report your lost or stolen card, report your damaged card, or contact us if your card’s been lost or stolen abroad.

Report your lost or stolen card

If you’ve lost your card or it’s been stolen, it’s important to call us as soon as you can, so we can cancel your card.

We’ll get your new card to you within three to five working days. If your card’s got into the wrong hands, you’ll be refunded for any fraud carried out on your account, plus any interest or charges you’ve paid.

Report your damaged card

Whether you’ve snapped your card by accident or the chip’s worn away, you can order a new one online in no time.

Log into or register for Barclaycard online servicing, select ‘Account services’ from the menu tab and click on ‘Order a replacement card’.

We’ll get your new card to you within three to five working days.

If you’re abroad

If you lose your card while you’re abroad – don’t worry. We can get a temporary card to you within three working days. Or, if funds are available within your cash limit we can make emergency cash available, usually within 24 hours.

Our assistance with these services is free. However the costs of any flights or other purchases should be paid for by the cardholder.
