Why can't I use the same security details for Barclaycard online servicing, telephone banking and email statements?

We keep your security details separate for security reasons, and because our services work in different ways. Your 6-digit passcode is used for both Barclaycard online servicing and on the phone, whereas your memorable word is only ever used online, and only 2 letters are requested at any one time. We'll NEVER ask for your memorable word in full.

Your email statement password will give you access to see your statement and previous transactions and isn't used for anything else.
