What is this and how will it help me?

If you use British Sign Language (BSL) the SignVideo service is here to help you get in touch with us easily and safely. If you have a question or would like any help managing your account, SignVideo will connect you to an online interpreter who can communicate your sign language to one of our advisors.

We can help you with most things using SignVideo, but there are some services you'll need to access in other ways. These are:

  • ·       Money and balance transfers
  • ·       Asking us to change your credit limit
  • ·       Getting a reminder of your PIN.

The way you access these services depends on the kind of Barclaycard you have.

I have an Amazon Barclaycard

If you have a question about a recent Barclaycard application, please visit your local Barclays branch (if you have an Amazon Barclaycard, please send us a message from the ‘Help’ section of our app or call us on 0800 151 0157. We're here from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday).

When can I use it

The SignVideo service is available Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm (excluding Bank Holidays) and on Saturday from 8am to 1pm, and is free from your home computer.
 

What do I need?

Just make sure you've got the following:

  • A computer with a webcam – you currently can't use this service on a tablet or mobile
  •  Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, 8 or 9 or a Safari web browser
  •  Internet bandwidth of at least 256kbp/s upload and download (384kbp/s recommended)

How do I use it?

  1. Click on the Connect now button below
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect to a SignVideo interpreter
  3. You'll then be connected to a Barclaycard advisor in British Sign Language

You’ll need to download a one-off plug-in the first time you use the service. This will ensure good video quality and that the call is completely secure.
