I booked a trip after 11 March 2020 – am I covered by travel insurance?

If you’re a Premier Charge Card or Infinite customer and have booked a trip after 11 March 2020, your annual multi-trip policy won’t cover you for any cancellations.

This includes (but is not limited to) being diagnosed with coronavirus, travel booked against advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and flight cancellations.

This is because the World Health Organisation declared coronavirus as a pandemic at midnight on 11 March 2020 – and your policy doesn’t cover travel that’s been booked when there are circumstances known that could lead to a claim.
