What if my contactless payment is declined?
There are several possible reasons for your payment not going through. These might relate to your card or a terminal not working correctly. There are a few things you can do, depending on whether you have an Amazon Barclaycard or another type of Barclaycard.

If you continue to have problems using your Barclaycard, you can contact our Customer Services Team.
Alternatively it could be that you have exceeded your credit limit - check your balance in Barclaycard online servicing. Once logged in you can also set up alerts to help you manage your account. You can set up alerts by logging into your Barclaycard online account and selecting 'Alerts and notifications' which you will find under 'Your details' in the top menu.
If you haven’t already, log into or register for Barclaycard online servicing. Alternatively, you can check your balance by contacting our Customer Services Team.

If you continue to have problems using your Amazon Barclaycard, send us a message from the ‘Help’ section of our app, or contact us.
Alternatively, it could be that you have exceeded your credit limit – check your balance in our app.
We can also send notifications when you are close to exceeding your credit limit. You'll find this under 'More', 'Settings', then 'Enable push notifications'.
