How am I protected against fraud on contactless payments?

Barclaycard customers are 100% financially protected against credit card fraud (for both Chip & PIN and contactless payments). As long as you haven't been negligent (for example, disclosing your PIN), you're not liable for any fraud which may take place on your account.

From time to time, we may call you to ensure that the spending we’re seeing on your account is genuine. These calls have nothing to do with your credit worthiness – we’re simply trying to ensure that the person using your card is you.
