What are emergency card replacement and emergency cash advance?

The emergency card replacement and emergency cash advance service isn't available with the Amazon Barclaycard.

However, if you lose your Amazon Barclaycard while aboard, you can temporarily freeze it our app. Then you'll need to send us a message from the 'Help section of our app, or contact us another way. We’ll give you new card details that you can see in the app and use to make payments straight away.

If you lose your Visa Barclaycard while abroad, we can send you a temporary emergency card within three working days. Remember that there’s a non-sterling purchase fee each time you make a purchase abroad.

Or, as long as you're within the cash limit on your account, we can give you an emergency cash advance instead – usually within 24 hours.

Emergency card replacement and emergency cash advance are only available for Visa Barclaycards, except for the Amazon Barclaycard.
